Best Photos of 2011 Cooking in Central

CENTRAL — This weekend’s 2011 Cooking in Central drew thousands to St. Alphonsus to enjoy good food and fellowship and to raise money for worthwhile causes in the Central community.  Some of the highlights were the crawfish boil Friday night, this year’s great cooks, entertainment on the stage in the St. Alphonsus gym, and the live auction.  Every year, local vet Dr. Tony LoBue donates a beautiful dog for the auction and adds in countless free benefits.  This year, Dr. Kyle and Debbie Dean won the dog in the auction.  Debbie Dean’s expression in the photo shows her excitement.  For the best of this year’s Cooking photos by Central City News editor Woody Jenkins, click here.
